Favorite Roses Your chance to speak your mind!!
Share Your Favorite Rose With Us
We all have our favorite roses, but we don't often get a chance to share that information. [ Skip Down To Where You Can Write Your Story ]
Here at Rose-Works we often get asked for suggestions: what climber should I buy, what is the best miniature or which Tea-rose should I buy next! Our choices are often based on where we live (climate and soil type), our own personal tastes (size, color and smell) or because we have a special connection to a certain plant. One of my favorites is a dusky yellow David Austin that is a little out of control and rough around the edges but because it was given to me as a gift after my mother died, it has remained a "favorite rose" I also have a weedy looking miniature called "Heartstrings" but because it has such velvety red blooms it continues to be my favorite miniature rose, even though it should have been shovel pruned many moons ago, blackspot and all! So What's Your Favorite Rose?
It's your chance to tell your story, to help others decide on what to look for, even a chance to brag a little. What is your favorite rose and why....tell us the story behind it? It's your chance to shine. You just like the gorgeous scent? You rescued it from a house demolition? It's over a hundred years old? Your Grandmother planted it? It comes from your home town? It wins at the shows?or my favorite...it's the only plant I have ever been able to grow successfully! Whatever the reason, tell us the name of your favorite roses (or rose) and why you like them (it) so much....have a go...it's fun.
