This is about us. We all love our Roses!
Hi, my name is David and I am the author and builder of this website. I was originally from England, but now live in the beautiful Pacific North-West.
I had been cultivating roses for some time, when I was asked to help build a neighbors rose bed. This started me on a journey of discovery, through many a rose bed. I joined a Rose Society and started showing my roses. I was asked to give talks, act as a mentor and write articles on various rose topics. I even started winning at rose shows!
I told you this was about us.....me, my website and my roses!
It was this growing passion for everything roses, and the desire to share so much, that led to the building of this website. I wanted to help educate others about the wonderful world of roses, but I had never built a website, I had no knowledge of computer programming; heck, I didn't even have a computer.
So I went to my local library and used their computer! Unfortunately I was only allowed to use it for one hour in 24 but that was enough to find my "secret" tool, without which I could not have achieved what you see here today.
Being a rose gardener I knew the value of using the correct tools and so finding 'Site Build it' became the "secret" tool I was looking for.
