The annual rose show is the window through which we all share our beautiful roses. It's a great motivator to grow better roses, and it's the principle opportunity for rosarians to show the world the vast potential and beauty of roses.
Roses are beautiful on the bush. They are also beautiful, cut and displayed. The practice of the art of showing roses will teach you ways to best present the beauty of the cut rose. In fact, few of us can learn to grow the best roses unless we show them! The judges will tell you how your rose compares to the best that particular rose can be........and meeting people who genuinely love roses, people from all walks of life: that's what it's all about.
Seek out the nearest Rose Society and ask about the nearest Rose Show. Visit, study, meet, greet and enjoy.
